KPMG are the auditors. Diya maintains complete record of its financial affairs since its inception, and these are available for review to all our supporters. Annual audit is performed by KPMG Pakistan, an internationally renowned Big 4 accounting firm, since 2008. Previously, Ernst and Young were the auditors.

Since 2010, all expenses and other assistance are funded directly by certain trustees, hence ensuring that 100% of all contributions by our donors reach the deserving beneficiaries.

In addition, many donors entrusted Diya to help out victims of flood and earthquake disasters in previous years. Funds specifically earmarked for special projects were in excess of Rs 120 million. Diya's participation in relief and rehabilitation work also involved construction of model villages in Sindh and KPK.
