KPMG are the auditors. Diya maintains complete record of its financial affairs since its inception, and these are available for review to all our supporters. Annual audit is performed by KPMG Pakistan, an internationally renowned Big 4 accounting firm, since 2008. Previously, Ernst and Young were the auditors.

Since 2010, all expenses and other assistance are funded directly by certain trustees, hence ensuring that 100% of all contributions by our donors reach the end beneficiaries.

The Endowment (cash waqf) was established with a contribution by one of the trustees. Over the coming years, Diya is seeking to increase this fund to US$ 10 million with the objective of supporting its long term plans.
